Hollowbody Bass Guitar

This guitar is a commissioned piece, it has a AAA Adorondack Spruce top, an African Maghogany body and neck all carved out of one peice, a wenge Fretboard and an Indian Rosewood back, (of which the design consist of a "fan" of 32 peices of rosewood) and a Curly Maple backing strip.  The Fretboard has maple inlay, including a lions roaring profile for the twelfth fret.

The teardrop soundhole shape is complimented by a side port, and a 3rd small sound hole under the end of the fretboard (to bring out brightness). With a bent-top spruce soundboard, shaped to emmulate the figure and form of an archtop it is ergonomical and acoutically warm.

For electronics it has one volume pot, one tone pot and one three way pickup selector to go along with its roaring TV Jones Thundertron humbucker bass pickups.

A great Bass for a Jazz, Bues, or classic rocker. It has the tone of a upright bass with the playability of an electric bass. Fun and easy to play, with great tone an great sustain.
